WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a groundbreaking development, Congress has officially ratified the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ensuring the unalienable rights of America’s long-maligned hippie population.
The amendment’s ratification is also a major victory for the Hippie Legal Defense Fund, which has been fighting for hippie rights since 1973, when the landmark case Dude v. Establishment first introduced the concept.
