CIA Encourages Americans to Follow Them Back on Social Media

LANGLEY, VA — In a press release issued Monday, the Central Intelligence Agency cordially invited all Americans to follow its official social media accounts, calling it “a fun way to stay in touch with your favorite federal agency.”

“Whether you’re interested in international affairs, historical photos, or just want to see what we’re up to, we’d love to have you in our growing online community,” the statement read, noting that followers can expect regular updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and “the occasional reminder that global stability is a team effort.”

“We follow all sorts of people, and we’d really appreciate a follow back. It’s just a nice way to build trust.”
