WASHINGTON, D.C. — New Speaker of the House, Congressman Mike Johnson, explained that when he was a kid, he was everyone’s favorite phone pranker. “Back when we had one of those phones with the wheel of numbers, I used to get on that thing and call all kinds of people. Just go right through the phone books, and start dialing.”
Johnson described his pranking days as a time of great experimentation. “I was just a mischievous kid with a landline phone and a surplus of creativity. I couldn’t resist the urge to prank call random people, and it was my own little way of bringing laughter into their lives.”
